Old Age Need Food For Health

When we talking about food for health, many people think that the type of food for health are not delicious and yummy, because it is identical to taste bitter and another unpleasant taste . All right, when we are young, we could just eat carelessly without regard for side effects. But, all of that must be changed when we are old. Why? old age is a period vulnerable to disease.

Good nutrition is one of the important factors to consider to keep us healthy and fresh at old age. Old age is a time that needs more attention, and the few things we need to consider is :
1. cooked food with ingredients that not too spicy, sour, because it can interfere with digestion.

2. Use a little bit salt, not more than 4 grams/day for prevent high blood pressure.

3. reproduce high-calcium foods such as fish and milk. specifically on menopausal women really
need calcium to prevent brittle bones.

4. Reduce eating foods that are high in fat, so that blood cholesterol is not high.

5. Eat fibrous foods, raw vegetables to smooth digestion and constipation.

6. Reduce eating greasy food and fried food.

7. reduce the consumption of food high in sugar and high carbohydrate, so that blood sugar still normal and specially for patients with diabetes to avoid complications.

8. Eat soft food and easy to be chewed up so it keep your dental health.
